Cash in on selling sites: a number of selling sites, including Amazon and Ebay enable charities to make the most of their supporters’ online purchasing. Becoming an AmazonSmile registered charity allows your supporters to select your organisation to receive a donation when making purchases, often at no extra cost to the buyer. Creating an Ebay for Charity account allows others to contribute a proportion (or 100%!) of their sale profits to your charity - you could ask them to run a remote jumble sale, or pre-Christmas clear out! The secret to raising money this way is good communications - talk to your supporters, send them links, instructions and regular reminders to make sure they make the most of this easy fundraising opportunity.

The Foundation supports a broad range of charities across the UK that make a positive difference.  We fund a wide range of causes and charities and our grants vary according to the size of the charity and the work being undertaken. The Savoy Educational Trust is an independent, grant giving charitable trust, whose main aim is to advance and develop education, training and qualifications within the hospitality industry.

The Trustees award grants for a wide variety of hospitality related projects to:

• Educational establishments to enhance training and education facilities for their hospitality departments
• Associations to support those initiatives that will make a real difference to the hospitality industry

• Individuals studying hospitality may be eligible to apply for a grant via their college

Tesco Community Grants support thousands of local community projects and good causes across the UK.

The scheme is open to all registered charities and not-for-profit organisations, with priority given to projects that provide food and support to young people.

The Social Enterprise Support Fund provides essential financial support to help social enterprises in England to rebuild and grow their income from trading, following the impact of COVID-19. 

The Social Enterprise Support Fund is focused on social enterprises supporting people facing increased social and economic challenges as a result of COVID-19. We will support them in evolving and growing sustainable community services, in the face of ongoing disruption from COVID-19, with £16.3m of grants.

Groundwork is a federation of charities mobilising practical community action on poverty and the environment across the UK. They are passionate about creating a future where every neighbourhood is vibrant and green, every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny and no-one is held back by their background or circumstances.

Groundwork have partnered with One Stop Stores to provide £1000 grants and create working relationships with local stores, to support community groups or organisations operating within two miles of a One Stop store and which are;

• Tackling food poverty
• Supporting the vulnerable
